Location & Size

The size of the heat pump you need will depend on factors like the size of the room and the location of windows. If you’re considering a high wall heat pump unit, you also need to think about the placement of the outside compressor unit.

Getting the most for your money

Our expert team will advise on the make, model and how powerful the heat pump should be to best suit your needs.

Using a 3kW heat pump for heating your home 5 hours a day for 180 days per year will cost you between $90 – $150 which is less than $1 a day.

Check out the EECA’s calculator to find out what a heat pump will cost you based on your usage.

Why regular servicing is important

Regular services and filter cleaning will ensure that your machine is working as efficiently as possible. This means you get the most benefit from your heat pump, and it helps to extend the overall lifetime of the unit.

We recommend that you have your heat pump serviced at least once a year – a good time to have a service is during spring or summer, especially after heavy usage in winter.

You can have one of our qualified technicians come out to service both the inside and outside units.
