G-FORCE AT THE LPMA CONFERENCE

So where do we fit in with the property management business professionals? Well, we are in business to make their lives easier and hassle-free. Think of us as a one-stop-shop to make properties compliant with government regulations and the best way to protect rental property investments.

The LPMA conference was a great opportunity to speak to a range of current and potential clients. We had the opportunity to show off our new healthy homes service offer and discuss the vision we have for helping property managers navigate the new HHS requirements..

Our current clients have been raving about the convenience of our Healthy Homes service. It all starts with us contacting the tenants and scheduling and completing full Healthy Homes assessments for them. You can imagine the time this can save a property manager if they are responsible for dozens of properties and don’t need to worry about completing these assessments themselves. We carry out an entire property assessment inside and out.

FOCUS POINTS

The important focus points of the assessment inside the home are a fixed form of heating, good levels of insulation making sure the home has been draught proofed and is well ventilated with extraction fans.

Outside the home, we assess for ground vapour barriers, underfloor insulation and effective drainage systems this plays a large role in a healthy home.

Once we assess your property, we will provide you with a comprehensive report that shows which parts of the standard the property complies with, and which areas require further work to meet the standard. The report is broken into five sections. Each section covers all requirements of the Act and provides photographic evidence of any areas that require further work to meet the standard. Along with the report, we will provide you with a quote for us to complete all the work required to make the property compliant.

Once the work is completed, we will provide you with a compliance certificate and tenancy statement that can be added to the properties file.

A GOOD INVESTMENT

A healthy home is not only good for tenants but is vital to investors protecting their assets. The reality is that well-maintained homes will cost less in repairs in the long run. Unreported small faults can and will turn into big problems in the future and the cost to fix will go up exponentially.

We are grateful to LPMA for this fantastic opportunity to meet so many passionate Property Managers and industry leaders. It was great to hear everyone’s needs and concerns and to be able to use the feedback to create a product that will no doubt make their lives easier.
